MVV GmbH would like to thank you for visiting its website. We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We adhere to the applicable data protection regulations and guarantee the security of the data passed on to us as stipulated by the relevant data protection laws.

Every time the website of Münchner Verkehrs- und Tarifverbund GmbH is accessed, a log file is saved only temporarily. This file registers the following data:

  • name of the accessed file
  • date, duration and time of your visit
  • amount of data transferred the website from which you visited our homepage
  • the viewer (browser, RSS reader, widget) and operating system used
  • name of your internet service provider.
  • This information is analysed exclusively for statistical purposes (improving the website).

No information about your person can be derived from this data. For marketing and improvement purposes, this website uses the "PIWIK" tracking system to gather and store anonymised data. Cookies may be used for this process. The compiled data serves to create user profiles using pseudonyms. The data is not used to personally identify the person visiting the website.

There is no connection between the data and the person to whom the pseudonym was allocated. You may object to the collection and storage of data at any time. Your objection will be saved by your browser for future visits to our website.

Please note

If you delete cookies in your browser settings, the objection cookie will also be deleted. In order to deactivate the collection and storage of data, you must reactivate your objection.

We will only collect personal data if you provide it to us voluntarily (by participating in a sweepstake or placing an order at our MVV online shop, for example).

1. Shop

When fulfilling a customer order, MVV GmbH shall be authorised to edit, save and use any data provided by the customer when placing that order. By submitting an order, the user gives his or her express consent to this.

2. Suggestions

The data provided to MVV GmbH when making a suggestion or filing a complaint shall only be edited, saved or used for the purpose of dealing with that particular matter. It is also evaluated in an anonymised form for quality improvement. By sending a suggestion or complaint, the user gives his or her express consent to this.

3. EFA homepage link

MVV GmbH shall reserve the right to use the data provided in the context of the “EFA homepage link” service for its own marketing purposes. However, MVV GmbH shall undertake to only use this data for the functions associated with the “EFA homepage link” service.

4. Sweepstakes and other one-off promotions

MVV GmbH would like to point out that participants’ personal data shall not be forwarded to third parties, nor shall it be made available for them to use. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions of Participation of each individual promotion for any regulations to the contrary. Personal data particularly includes e-mail addresses, names, addresses and phone numbers.

Participants shall agree to their e-mail address being saved and used by MVV GmbH for the purpose of compiling statistics. Winners shall give MVV GmbH their express consent to publish their name and city of residence.

5. Newsletter subscription

MVV GmbH uses the data you provided exclusively for the purpose of sending the newsletter. The data shall not be passed on to third parties. The anonymised data is used solely for statistically evaluating the process of sending the newsletter. As soon as you unsubscribe from the newsletter, your data is deleted.
