Getting to the Allianz Arena by public transport

MVV tickets are not included in the admission price or season tickets of the football clubs as there has not been enough interest on the part of Munich’s football clubs. However, there are alternatives!

Travelling in groups

If you travel together with other people, we recommend the Group Day Ticket. It is available from ticket machines and valid for up to five adults – any two children between 6 and 14 years of age count as one adult. You’ll need the Group Day Ticket for the inner district to travel to the Allianz Arena from the Munich city area.

… or travel alone to see the kick-off

If you decide to travel to the Allianz Arena from the Munich city area alone, then a Single Ticket for one zone is the right choice – you need one for your trip to the Arena and another one to travel back. As an alternative, you can also validate two stripes on a Stripe Ticket for each trip. If you use the Single Day Ticket for the inner district, you are free to travel flexibly throughout the city on the day of validation – including a free trip to the Allianz Arena and back.

Easy to reach by MVV

The stadium in the north of Munich can be reached conveniently by MVV. Just take the U6 in the direction of Garching-Forschungszentrum and get off at the stop “Fröttmaning”.
