Means of transportation

Means of transport within the MVV
Overview

As transport association we work to coordinate different transport services and different means of transport – in one network, with one tariff system and one timetable.

S- und U-Bahn sowie Regionalzug
S-Bahn and U-Bahn (suburban railway and underground) as well as regional trains

The network of the suburban and regional railway, which is concentrated within the city district, is the core of Munich’s local public transport. 6 underground lines, 10 suburban railway lines and 9 stages of regional trains integrated into the MVV tariff ensure quick and direct connections in the Munich region, regardless of city traffic.
