The price of a Single Ticket and the Stripe Ticket depends on how many of the four zones of the MVV area you travel through. Just count through. If you leave a zone in the north and reach it again in the south the zone counts twice.
From 4 zones on the price does not increase anymore (maximum price).

Before purchasing your Single Ticket (Einzelfahrkarte you need to know the exact number of zones. This ticket is available for one, two, three or four zones.

If you use a Stripe Ticket (Streifenkarte) you have to validate two stripes for each zone you travel through.

The more zones you have, the longer is your potential › Maximum travel time of the ticket..

Example:
The trip from Munich Airport to Olympiazentrum passes through four zones. Therefore you need a Single Ticket for four zones or you have to validate 8 stripes of your Stripe Ticket.

The Ticket Navigator calculates the fare for a one-way trip, a return trip, plus trips with Day Tickets or Season Tickets. In the suburban and underground train network (Schnellbahnnetz) you merely have to click on the U-Bahn (underground) or S-Bahn (suburban railway) station you want.
