IAA Mobility in Munich

September 9–14, 2025

Welcome to IAA MOBILITY 2025!

The world's largest mobility trade fair will take place again in Munich from September 9–14, 2025. Under the motto “It's All About Mobility,” exhibitors will present the diversity of future mobility that brings people even closer together – sustainable, digital, and intelligently connected.

IAA Mobility will take place both at the Munich Exhibition Center and in downtown Munich and can be divided into the following formats:

Industry visitors
September 9–12 | Munich Exhibition Center
  • IAA Summit
  • IAA Conference
  • IAA Experience
Private visitors
September 9–14 | Munich city center
  • IAA Open Space
  • IAA Experience
  • IAA Citizens Lab

Information about tickets for the IAA Summit and the IAA Conference can be found here. No tickets are required for the IAA Open Space.

Detailed information, such as this year's exhibitors and the diverse program, can be found on the official IAA Mobility website and in the new IAA Mobility app.

As always, we at MVV would like to provide you with the best possible information on how to get to the Munich exhibition grounds and the exhibitions in Munich city center by public transport in the easiest way possible (how to get there) and which tickets you need.

You are also welcome to use our MVV app and the MVV information service for this purpose.

Arrival

By public transportation

How do I get to the exhibition grounds? (IAA Summit)

From Munich Central Station, you can take the U2 subway line (runs approx. every 5 minutes) towards the exhibition grounds and get off at Messestadt West (fare zone M/1).

If you are arriving from the airport, please use either the S1 or S8 to the main station or the Airport-Messe shuttle, which will take you directly from the airport to the exhibition center.

Additional information:

On the weekend (September 13 and 14, 2025), IAA MOBILITY will take place exclusively in Munich city center—not at the Munich exhibition grounds.

How do I get to the IAA Open Space in the city center?

The IAA Open Space map shows all locations in the city center (fare zone M) that are part of the IAA Open Space. These include Königsplatz, Wittelsbacher Platz, Odeonsplatz & Ludwigstraße, Max-Joseph-Platz, Marienplatz, Residenzhöfe, and Hofgartenstraße.

You can reach these locations in about 10 minutes by public transportation or in about 20 minutes on foot.
