Welcome to MVV! We are a public-sector organisation responsible for local public transport in the Greater Munich area. Our team consists of around 160 dedicated staff members who are committed to improving quality of life and promoting sustainable mobility.

What exactly does the MVV do?

For over 50 years, we have been organising local transport in Munich and the surrounding area. We develop the MVV fare structure, provide passengers with information in a variety of ways, analyse passenger movements, plan specific transport services and anticipate the mobility of the future.
