Eibseebus

Travel comfortably to Eibsee on the Eibseebus: an overview of the routes between Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Grainau and Eibsee from 2026.

The Eibseebus offers day-trippers a convenient, flexible and environmentally friendly way to travel directly from Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Grainau to the Eibsee. Bus routes 314, 315 and 323 connect railway stations, town centres and key tourist attractions at the foot of the Zugspitze. Thanks to coordinated timetables, the Eibseebus offers an attractive alternative to travelling by car all year round.

Whether it’s a hike, a stroll along the lakeshore, a visit to the Zugspitze region or an excursion into the impressive Alpine landscape around Grainau: the Eibseebus takes passengers to their destination in comfort and without the hassle of finding a parking space. Thanks to its direct connection to Garmisch-Partenkirchen railway station, Eibsee is also easily accessible by bus and train from across the entire MVV area and beyond.

The MVV fare does not apply to journeys to Eibsee.
