The new ExpressBus routes along the Alpine range connect the regions south of Munich directly for the first time – without having to go via the city.
This makes the Alpenbus not only a practical everyday service, but also a comfortable way to travel for day trips and leisure activities in the region.
Places such as Murnau, Penzberg, Bad Tölz, Miesbach and Rosenheim are now more conveniently and sustainably accessible to one another – ideal for spontaneous day trips, the daily commute or the weekly shop. The service, initiated by the Bavarian State Government, boosts mobility, regional businesses and tourism.
Thanks to modern facilities, a clear hourly timetable and daily service, locals, commuters and visitors benefit from greater flexibility, comfort and attractive prices.
Those who use the Alpenbus travel more frequently within a single fare zone and, thanks to the 1-zone fare, save money compared to travelling via Munich.
