Reach your destination in no time with the ExpressBus
As the name suggests, the ExpressBus travels faster than the standard scheduled bus. As well as speed, the ExpressBuses offer a host of other benefits in the region and in the city:

- MORE FREQUENT – every 20 minutes, every 60 minutes on Sundays and public holidays

Since the end of 2021, there has also been a subsidised ExpressBus ring around Munich (consisting of 7 ExpressBus routes), which reduces time-consuming detours. The routes of the new lines run directly between the outer branches of the underground and suburban rail networks. Passengers on the ExpressBus routes therefore reach their destination faster.
Some journey times are even significantly reduced. In fact, the buses provide direct, transfer-free journeys between S-Bahn corridors and the MVV network districts, as well as between various industrial estates and school locations. A change is only necessary when transferring to another line on the ExpressBus ring.
They thus offer an attractive transport option, particularly for commuters and leisure travel.
