Reach your destination quickly with the ExpressBus

As the name suggests, the ExpressBus is faster than the standard bus service. In addition to speed, ExpressBuses offer a number of other advantages in the region and in the city:

Since the end of 2021, there has also been a subsidised express bus ring ( consisting of seven express bus lines) around Munich, which reduces time-consuming detours. The routes of the new lines run directly between the outer branches of the underground and suburban rail networks. Passengers on the express bus lines therefore reach their destinations faster.

Some journey times are even reduced significantly. In fact, the buses enable direct journeys without changing between S-Bahn corridors or the MVV association districts, as well as between various industrial estates and school locations. Changing is only necessary when transferring to another line of the express bus ring.

They therefore offer an attractive mobility option, especially for commuters and leisure travellers.
