Wendelstein Ring Line

Travel flexibly around the Wendelstein with the MVV ‘Flexibel’ fare from 1 May to 8 November 2026 – the ideal bus service for day trips, hiking and exploring nature.

Four times a day, RegionalBus route 349 circles the 1,838-metre-high Wendelstein.

The journey is comfortable, scenic and varied. Along the route, there are numerous destinations for day trips, walks, mountain ascents and places of interest where you can hop on or off.

The tour can be tailored flexibly to suit individual preferences. Free tour tips and information leaflets are available from the tourist information centres along the route.

Free travel with the visitor’s card

With a visitor’s card from Bad Feilnbach, Bayrischzell, Brannenburg, Fischbachau or Schliersee, you can travel on Route 349 free of charge. MVV tip: Within the visitor’s card’s valid area, you can use all MVV bus and train services free of charge.
