How to order the Bavarian Concessionary Ticket for

Students at Landshut University of Applied Sciences

Tickets are ordered and issued as follows:

  1. Ordering the Deutschlandticket subscription (concessionary ticket) via the online shop

D-Ticket Shop, Landshut University of Applied Sciences

Students must log in there using the university’s Shibboleth authentication system. This automatically provides the service provider with confirmation of enrolment.

  2. Payment request by email

Immediately after ordering, students receive a payment request with the account details (IBAN, reference) for transferring the amount due. Payment processing is fully automated via the payment service provider Stripe. Tickets are only issued once payment has been received. To ensure students receive their tickets for the following months on time, a payment reminder is sent by email on the 20th of each month. Of course, customers can also set up a standing order.

  3. Ticket delivery via email and addition to the b.conn Wallet app

As soon as payment is received, customers will receive an email containing an 8-digit subscription code. The ticket can then be downloaded via the b.conn Wallet app (available on the Google and Apple App Stores; instructions are attached). This code must be entered once at the start of the subscription. This information can also be found in the attached file. Thereafter, the new tickets for the subscription are automatically synchronised to the app every month. The tickets can also be saved to Google and Apple Wallet via the web shop. It is not possible to add the ticket to the MVV app.

  4. Cancellation

Subscriptions can be easily cancelled via the D-Ticket Shop or directly in the b.conn Wallet app. As with all Germany-wide tickets, the subscription must be cancelled by the 10th of the month for the cancellation to take effect at the end of the month. Otherwise, cancellation is only possible at the end of the following month.

  5. Confirmation of enrolment every 6 months

Legally, proof of enrolment status must be provided every 6 months for the reduced-fare ticket. Students receive a reminder at the start of each semester and must log in again via the Shibboleth procedure. This completes the confirmation process.
