Your ticket under the student fare scheme: customer card and token
The basis for the student fare is your personal customer card.
Together with a valid token for a calendar week or a calendar month, this forms your valid ticket under the student fare.
Documents required to order the customer card
Please have the following documents ready when ordering:
- Completed order form
- Passport photo (35 × 45 mm)
(required only for children aged 6 to 15 inclusive) - Confirmation from the training
centre – for pupils up to the age of 14, alternatively a confirmation from the parents on the order form - Alternatively, suitable proof of training or study, e.g.
certificate of enrolment, IHK training contract or work placement contract

Subscription orders
To order or renew a monthly training pass or a monthly school pass on a subscription basis, please contact one of the MVG or Deutsche Bahn subscription centres.
Processing time
Customer cards are usually processed within a week.
