The MVV skill ‘MVV Timetable Information’ is available free of charge in the Alexa app and directly on the Amazon website.
The MVV skill responds to the keyword “MVV”. It can be launched using simple commands such as “Alexa, launch MVV!”. You can then ask a question directly to get the timetable information you need, for example: “How do I get from Moosach to Münchner Freiheit?”
The command can also be combined with a full question, such as:
“Alexa, ask MVV how I can get from Moosach to Münchner Freiheit.”
There are several possible reasons for this. The MVV skill is currently still in beta, which is why not all questions and dialogue flows are fully supported. Furthermore, some stop names are difficult for Alexa to pronounce or recognise, as the speech processing system was originally developed for the Anglo-American region. Dialects or individual pronunciations can also make it harder for the system to understand.
It is not currently possible to purchase MVV Mobile Tickets and Online Tickets via the MVV Skill.
