FLEX is a flexible on-demand service with no fixed timetable that operates within a defined service area. Journeys can be booked spontaneously or up to 7 days in advance.
Booking
A one-time registration is required to use the service. After that, journey requests and bookings can be made conveniently via the MVV app. Telephone bookings can be made on 089 – 41 42 43 44.
Stops
The stops are the familiar MVV regional bus stops as well as pick-up and drop-off points, which are marked with signs bearing the FLEX logo and where only the FLEX stops.
Tickets
The service can be used with all valid MVV tickets for the respective fare zone at no extra charge. Season tickets do not require an additional ticket.
Note for app bookers
Since July 2024, bookings for the FLEX line can only be made via the MVV app with version 6.101 (and later) .
You can find the version number in the main menu (click on the round button with the three horizontal lines) at the bottom of the page, to the right under the menu item 'Imprint'.
For app version 6.101, you need a device with at least iOS 15 or Android 10. If your device does not support a version newer than 6.83, you can still book the FLEX line on the web at mvv-auskunft.de or by telephone on 089 - 41 42 43 44.
Town of Moosburg
Monday to Friday: 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. | Saturday, Sunday and public holidays: 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Together with the district of Freising, we are driving forward the expansion of local transport in your region. FLEX complements the regional bus service in the Moosburg urban area – all day long.
Munich district
Different regions in day and night operation
During daytime traffic between 5 a.m. and 10 p.m., FLEX supplements bus services in Sauerlach, the southern part of Brunnthal and Aying, where it is becoming a new component of sustainable everyday mobility. During night-time service between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m., the area covers Ober- and Unterhaching as well as Taufkirchen, west of the A8 motorway. There are connections to Munich's night-time network at the Ostbahnhof and Neuperlach Süd railway stations.
