The FLEXlines run in a star-shaped pattern into core zone 8000 (the town of Fürstenfeldbruck) and form district-wide sectors.
- In Fürstenfeldbruck: You can change between FLEXlines. If the vehicle is not booked for another journey, you can continue your journey without changing.
- Outside the town: In overlapping areas of the sectors, it is also possible to continue your journey directly without changing.

Questions and answers about FLEXlinie
How you book a journey depends on the specific FLEXlinie service.
You can find out what booking options are available in the section ‘The FLEXlinie in the districts’.
The following information is required to book a journey:
- FLEXlinie route number
- Date of the requested journey
- Boarding stop with departure time as per the timetable
- Drop-off stop as per the timetable
- Number of passengers, including children up to 12 years of age
- Name and contact details for enquiries
- Please specify whether you will be carrying luggage, a pushchair, a walking frame, a wheelchair or similar items
- Please indicate whether a standing order should be set up
The departure times shown in the timetable are approximate.
Actual pick-up and arrival times may vary, as each journey is planned individually based on the bookings received.
The exact route and journey times are only confirmed after the booking deadline.
When booking via the MVV app, the confirmed pick-up time for the booked journey is displayed once the booking deadline has passed.
The FLEXlinie does not operate to a fixed timetable, but only when a specific journey request is made. A vehicle is only dispatched once a journey request has been submitted.
To ensure that a pick-up can take place at the desired time, a lead time is required between the booking of the journey and the pick-up time. The length of this lead time depends on the specific FLEXlinie service.
The booking deadline (e.g. 45 or 30 minutes before departure from the first stop according to the timetable) marks the point at which no further bookings can be accepted, as the vehicle will already be en route by then.
Once the booking deadline has passed, the desired journey can no longer be booked; you will need to switch to a later journey.
Please therefore register your journey requests in good time.
The MVV fare applies to the FLEXlinie.
If an MVV season ticket is used that is valid for the required fare zones, no additional charge applies. The fare zones covered by each FLEXlinie route are listed in the timetables or in the MVV timetable enquiry service.
Specific fares can be checked via the MVV journey planner.
The easiest option is to already have an MVV ticket that is valid for the fare zone(s) covered by the FLEXlinie.
If you do not have a valid ticket, you can purchase a strip ticket or a single-journey ticket from the driver. However, these tickets are only valid for the fare zone(s) of the FLEXlinie.
If you are continuing your journey using other MVV services that lie outside the FLEXlinie fare zones, you will need a separate ticket. The relevant fare zones can be found in the timetables or via the MVV timetable enquiry service.
For an increasing number of FLEXlinie services, tickets can also be purchased via the MVV app.
If a wheelchair or walking aid is required, this must be stated when booking the journey. We will then endeavour to provide a suitable vehicle.
Please note that not all FLEXlines can accommodate wheelchairs, or that they can only be transported when folded.
Yes, regular journeys can be booked as a standing order.
To do this, please indicate when booking your journey that you wish to use the service on a regular basis.
Yes, booked journeys can be cancelled.
It may happen that you are unable to use a journey you have already booked. In this case, you can cancel the journey.
It is important to note the relevant cancellation deadlines.
The deadline for cancellation varies depending on the FLEXlinie service.
