Cycle to the bike-and-ride facility, take the regional train into town, then the underground to work, and cover the last stretch on a hire bike – and at lunchtime, depending on the weather, take a hire scooter or bus. This example shows that many people combine different modes of transport in their everyday lives.

More and more people are using multiple mobility options to get from A to B flexibly. Mobility points respond to this change in behaviour. They bundle different transport options in one place and make it easier to switch between modes of transport. In this way, they support environmentally friendly travel and are considered an important part of modern, sustainable mobility.

The central element of these mobility points are information pillars. They display all available mobility services and make them easier to find – both on site in the street and digitally. Under the uniform MP logo, mobility points are clearly recognisable throughout the entire MVV area. The uniform design of logos and pillars helps users to quickly find mobility points and use shared mobility services – regardless of the provider.
